Chris is excitedly entering his first year of nursing school in Fall 2023. With a deep-rooted love for the
subject and a wealth of knowledge to share, he has been guiding students through the intricate world of
Microbiology. Chris transitioned from being a former SRJC baseball player to pursuing a career in
nursing. Before pursuing nursing, Chris studied Kinesiology, acquiring a solid foundation in
understanding human movement and exercise physiology. His family's roots in Colombia and El Salvador
have influenced his academic journey as a first generation student. In addition to his role as a
Microbiology tutor, Chris works as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Spring Lake Village, further enriching
his experience in healthcare.
Outside of his tutoring role, Chris is a regular gym-goer but avid cardio hater. In his downtime, Chris
enjoys rooting for the Giants. You will find him occasionally rock climbing with Meghan. At home, Chris
finds companionship and love from his beloved dog Wilson.
Chris is excited to continue tutoring and strives to continue to improve his ability to teach. He aims to
empower students to unlock their full potential while nurturing their love for science, math, and
healthcare.
