Pre-Nurse Pathway
The Pre-NURSE Pathway is a new Strong Workforce Program grant partnered with the HOPE and Avanzando programs to support SRJC's pre-nursing students, especially those who are underrepresented and first-generation. Our goal is to provide necessary resources to students to support the successful completion of Nursing (ADN) pre-requisites, the TEAS exam, and getting through the application process.
We provide resources such as:
- Textbook Lending Library for ADN prerequisite courses (ANAT 1, MICRO 5 & 60, PHYZ 1, etc.)
- Workshops on required steps in the transition from pre-nursing to nursing (e.g., TEAS exam, Nursing Program Application)
- 1-on-1 Program Support & Orientation
- Mentoring Opportunities and more!
We are also seeking student feedback on your challenges, successes, and experiences as Pre-Nursing students to improve our student services offerings. We will be developing a survey for all Pre-Nursing students and students considering entering the field soon. Reach out to get in touch with our team today!
Please fill out the Interest Form for Pre-Nursing (ADN) Majors and students interested in declaring the major today to get program updates and be the first to know when our textbook lending library is launched!
